I'm Yvonne Wiesenthal, a multidisciplinary artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Before moving to California, I was already exhibiting my work in Europe. After relocating to the Bay Area, I built a career in operations across the tech industry while continuing to create art. That path eventually led me back to the studio, where I completed my BFA in Sculpture at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Moving between those two worlds—structure and intuition, logic and material—continues to shape my practice. I work across sculpture, painting, wood, charcoal, murals, and mixed media. Rather than following a single style, I let each idea determine its own material, process, and form.
My work has been exhibited internationally, including a permanent mixed-media installation at Novartis International Headquarters in Munich and a mural at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. I was also invited to participate in the Florence Biennale. Today, I continue developing new collections while accepting selected commissions and public art projects throughout the Bay Area.
